Current offerings include fruit-flavored Low Flock Hazy IPA and Blood Raven Porter, a luscious mash-up of chocolate and raspberry. Opened at the turn of the 21st century, Diamond Bear Brewing is the oldest brewery in Arkansas. The brewhouse staff, which has a cumulative 75 years of experience, uses premium ingredients to produce a variety of all-natural craft beers. Fest, their appropriately named seasonal beer, is a smooth, malty Marzen-style lager. Diamond Bear Brewery is open 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday.

The four founders of Stone's Throw Brewing honed their skills as members of a local home brew club called the Central Arkansas Fermenters. Their taproom, located in the MacArthur Park Historic District, has been a popular addition to the neighborhood's roster of thriving businesses and cultural attractions. Toast the season with a pint of Pumpkin Pie Porter or sweet and tangy Cranapple cider. When you've had your fill of turkey, head to Stone's Throw Brewing on Friday, 12/6 when the Cousins Maine Lobster will be serving their tasty seafood from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Hours are 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Friday, noon - 10 p.m. Saturday, and noon - 9 p.m. Friday.

Lost Forty Brewing, located in Little Rock's lively downtown area, pays tribute to the iconic mythology of another piece of local landscape. Legend has it that a 40-acre parcel of wilderness was "lost," leaving it untouched by timber companies. In their own words, Lost Forty Brewing wants to create beers "as wild, unwavering, and uniquely Arkansas" as their namesake forest. As winter arrives, the brewery rolls out their seasonal beers. Puffy Jacket Baltic Porter is flavored with coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, and cherry, while Ice Day Winter IPA is brewed with caramel malts accented with tropical and citrus hop aromas. Moody Brews, the latest addition to the local craft beer scene, has been open less than a year and already has a devoted following. The creativity of veteran Little Rock brewer Josiah Moody and his daughter Aria can be seen in dessert-like brews such as Waffle Cone Stout, Orange Julian, and Prickly Pear Perry. Moody Brews is open noon - 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, noon - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon - 9 p.m. Sunday.
